This outfit was for a graduation ceremony at Cranfield University where the lady was due to collect her Masters Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics. The jacket is made from jacquard silk and features a segmented peplum at the back and hand made braids which pick out the curved seams on the bodice. There are discrete pockets in the jacket which are hidden within the curved seams. We used feature buttons and bound button holes. The jacket is lined in gold with a self coloured paisley design. The skirt colour exactly matches the jacket, but is plain cream shantung silk, lined with bremsilk lining. The skirt has curved pockets which reflect the curved pockets on the jacket, and they are also edged with the hand made braid.
